OUR STORY

We are a mother and daughter combo who just love baking! For years we have experimented in the kitchen with our bakes, some have worked some have not, but we have kept on trying. We are both avid cookbook collectors, we love reading about cooking, different techniques and collect recipes from all over the place. We have folders and scrapbooks with recipes stuck (and stuffed) into them which we have been adding to for years. Our obsession for baking spills over into antiques and collectables, we love picking through antique or collectable shops, finding long forgotten kitchen utensils in charity shops or adding to our ever increasing collection of cake tins.

ReadySteadyBake and our Baking Blog arose from this, we thought it would be nice way to share with a wider audience our baking escapades but we also wanted to sell cake baking supplies and baking flavorings that we found difficult to locate or that we thought were amazing finds for fellow baking tragics!
